The Italian team has confirmed its entries in WEC, ELMS and even GT World Challenge. All will be done with Ferraris.

Iron Lynx reveals plans for 2021 season

Iron Lynx revealed this Thursday, February 25, its sports program for the 2021 campaign. This will focus in particular onEndurance with the WEC or againELMS but also the GT World Challenge.

In total, the trans teamalpine will engage a total of 14 Ferrari in five different championships with a new participation in 24 Hours of Le Mans and a first entry in WEC.

Rino Mastronardi, Matteo Cressoni and Andrea Piccini will share the wheel of the No. 488 Ferrari 80 GTE at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Claudio Schiavoni, Raffaele Giammaria and Paulo Ruberti will be in the No. 60 at Le Mans and in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) just like Manuela Gostner, Rahel Frey and Michelle Gatting with the No. 85 of Iron Dames, the 100% female team.

The No. 60 and No. 80 will also be in action in the European Le Mans Series. On the first, Claudio Schiavoni will be renewed but this time accompanied by Giorgio Sernagiotto and Paolo Ruberti. Miguel Molina will join Rino Mastronardi and Matteo Cressoni aboard the second.

Iron Lynx will still enter a third 488 GTE (No. 83) under the Iron Dames banner. Manuela Gostner and Rahel Frey will be there again. Katherine Legge will replace Michelle Gatting.

Iron Lynx will also start the GT World Challenge endurance rounds with two Ferrari 488 GT3s. Scuderia test driver Callum Illot will participate in the various events with the No. 71 which he will share with Antonio Fuoco and Davide Rigon. The No. 51 will be in the hands of Alessandro Pier Guidi, Nicklas Nielsen and Côme Ledogar. Both cars will be operated by AF Corse.

The Michelin Le Mans Cup will also be Iron Lynx's playground this year. The Cesena team (Italy) will enter two 488 GT3s. The N°8 with Rino Mastronardi and Paulo Ruberti and the N°9 whose crew has not yet been announced.

The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Europe, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo AM Europe and the Coppa Shell are also on the Iron Lynx program with three other 488s entered.
