JDC-Miller Motorsports declines invitation to the 24 hours of Le Mans

JDC-Miller Motorsports will not be at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018. Following the ACO conference held this Friday at Rétromobile in Paris, the American team announced its choice not to make the trip to Sarthe on June 16 and 17 where it was originally due to enter an Oreca 07 in LMP2.

“Having spent the last few months working on participation in the event, the team regrets to inform theIMSA, the ACO and their partners that unforeseen challenges have arisen in our schedules. The team was unable to finalize its arrangements which would have allowed it to be at the required level to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans… The team would like to apologize to IMSA and the ACO for not not having been able to respond to the invitation due to the difficulties encountered in its organization", JDC-Miller Motorsports said in a press release.

JDC-Miller Motorsports remains involved full-time in IMSA for the 2018 season with two Oreca 07s which took 6th and 7th places at the 24 Hours of Daytona last January.
