Un équipage inédit pour Jota Sport en 2023. Si l’écurie britannique sera fièrement représentée en catégorie Hypercar avec Porsche, elle conservera aussi une activité en LM P2 dans le championnat du monde d’Endurance. To replace Antonio Felix da Costa and Will Stevens, both tipped to drive the future Hertz-Jota Porsche in Hypercar, Jota called on two new drivers to fill its ranks in LM P2. Pietro Fittipaldi and David Heinemeier-Hansson will join Oliver Rasmussen at the wheel of the reigning champion Oreca 07 in the category.

Oliver Rasmussen, former resident of Formula 3 and 3rd in the FREC championship in 2020, already drove for Jota last season aboard the No. 28, for two podiums (3rd at Le Mans, 3rd at Fuji). He will therefore be joined by Fittipaldi and Heinemeier-Hansson: the two men know each other well having raced together at Inter Europol Competition. It’s also a return home for the Dane, who already drove for Jackie Chan DC Racing in 2019, which has since become Jota. The Brazilian, reserve driver at Haas en Formula 1 last season, will therefore resume its commitment in WEC, who only participated in one race in the world championship last year, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
