Julien Jousse: “It’s extraordinary”

Winner of the 6 Hours of Castellet at the wheel of the Pescarolo that he shares with Emmanuel Collard and Christophe Tinseau, Julien Jousse is preparing to face his next challenge: the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He will participate in the Test day on Sunday.

A legendary challenge for its first prototype participation in the Le Mans classic. " It's extraordinary, he enthuses. Many drivers dream of running this legendary race at the wheel of a prototype, and today I have the chance to do it in one of the most emblematic teams. I really want to thank Henri Pescarolo for this incredible opportunity he is offering me. The team has done a lot of work since its reopening, and the car is already performing very well. »

A race that he actively prepares on a physical level, in order to give his full potential from the first laps of the wheel. Test day is just the right opportunity to get your bearings. “Above all, I am going to have fun behind the wheel, and discover the car on this very special circuit. Afterwards, of course, we will work tirelessly to be efficient. The team and my teammates have immense experience on this track, so I hope to learn as much as possible from this collaboration. I obviously do a lot of sport, and I spend a lot of time in the workshop where we continue to work. It?s important for me to stay close to the team, and I really like the atmosphere within Team Pescarolo. I already feel like family there! »
