KCMG wants to enter the WEC with an Oreca 03

KCMG wants to take a new step this year by registering in WEC with an Oreca 03. Paul Ip's team lost its duel last year against Oak Racing with its Morgan-Nissan despite its two victories at the 3 Hours of Inje and the 3 Hours of Fuji. Last year it became the first Chinese team to have competed in a WEC event by participating in the 6 Hours of Silverstone (sixth in LMP2) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (abandonment).
