The ACO reveals the registration dates for the 24 2018 Hours of Le Mans

The Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) has announced the opening of entries for the 2018 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 16-17) for December 18. Teams wishing to participate in the Le Mans classic will be able to send their registration form until February 5. The final entry list will be revealed on February 9.

Seven teams have already earned their entry ticket thanks to their 2017 results at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in the European Le Mans Series and the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup. THE JMW Motorsport is very happy because, winner in the GTE Am category at the last 24 Hours, she gleaned two invitations in GTE AM and/or GTE Pro.

The winners in the other Le Mans classes, the Jackie Chan DC Racing in LM P2 and Aston Martin Racing in GTE Pro, have the assurance of being able to defend their chances next June. Victorious in Elms, G Drive Racing (LM P2) and the TF Sport (GTE Pro or Am) will be able to return to Sarthe, just like United Autosports winner in LM P3 in Elms and who keeps his place in LM P2. Finally, ebimotors, who was successfully competing in the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup, has the opportunity to compete in GTE Am.

The list of guests will expand in a few weeks, at the end of the 2017-18 Asian Le Mans Series season: the teams winning LM P2, LM P3 and GT will each have a place. The organizers of theImsa American will also be able to choose two training courses of their choice. Please note, each invitation can only be granted if the car concerned is entered in 2018 in one of the following three championships: Asian Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series and Imsa.
