Isaakyan’s flight at the 6h of Spa

The Raidillon caused several victims at the 6 Hours of Spa. Harry Tincknell notably destroys his Ford GT by hitting the wall head-on last Saturday. This accident recalled the exit of Pietro Fittipaldi having occurred the day before during qualifying, the reigning champion of the World Series Formula V8 3.5 Series resident of Dragonspeed having been hospitalized with leg fractures.

The opening event of the Super Season of WEC was also marked by the crash of Matevos Isaakyan. If the Russian escaped unscathed from the #1 SMP Racing BR17, the images showing the destroyed LMP1 suggested the violence of the impact.
