The BMW M8 GTE being tested in Barcelona

Expected for 2018 on the stage of WEC and IMSA in the GTE and GTLM categories, the BMW M8 continues its development in the hands of the German brand's drivers. After a first run at home at the Lausitzring, it was on Catalan soil that the future Munich GT evolved, on the Barcelona track.

Martin Tomczyk, Nick Catsburg, Bruno Spengler and Philipp Eng were lined up by the German brand, and took turns at the wheel during the week.
