The Ginetta returns to the 6h of Fuji
After missing the 6h of Silverstone (Great Britain) in August, CEFC TRSM Racing will be back in the paddock of the WEC in Fuji (October 12-14) with a Ginetta G60-LT-P1 now powered by AER. The British team missed its national round due to a homologation problem following the change of the Mecachrome block. LM P1 will be entrusted to Oliver Rowland, Alex Brundle and Michael Simpson.
The LM P1 category will also see Pietro Fittipaldi return to the wheel of the #1 Dragonspeed BR10 with which he was injured during testing for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
In the GTE Pro category, Tom Blomqvist will replace Augusto Farfus (retained in DTM) sur la BMW M8 GTE n°82 qu’il partagera avec Antonio Félix da Costa. Du côté du GTE Am, Thomas Preining fera ses débuts en WEC au volant de la Porsche 911 RSR n°86 du Gulf Racing.
