The GreenGT H2 which was to occupy the 56th stand of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2013 before declaring lump sum will be presented for the first time in action on June 27 at Paul-Ricard (Var) as part of the WTCC meeting. The creators of this unique racing car have continued their work and ensure that it now benefits from “ performance of a GT and a range comparable to competition cars with a thermal engine » according to the press release.

“Our strong 35-day development program provided the team with invaluable experience in the dynamic operation of a high-power hydrogen fuel cell”, declared Jean-François Weber, Director of Research and Development. “Our work has focused on understanding the complex phenomena linked to this new technology and on the integration of the resulting technical solutions. Thus, the optimization of components and programs made it possible tosignificantly improve yields and reliability of all the organs of the GreenGT H2. »

This prototype powered by “electric – hydrogen” technology will be driven by Olivier Panis (which will also test the Lada Vesta WTCC) and his son Aurélien. “This innovative and clean solution could be applied to all vehicles requiring high power…”, underlined the winner of the 1996 Monaco GP.
