The starting grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

André Lotterer will have the privilege of starting from pole at the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the wheel of the No. 18 R1. Duval (Audi no. 3), Sarrazin (Toyota no. 8), Rockenfeller (Audi no. 4) and Wurz (Toyota no. 7) complete the start of the grid.

The starting grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The provisional list of drivers at the start of the 80th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was revealed. After achieving pole in 3'23"787, André Lotterer will take the start at the wheel of the No. 1 Audi, starting alongside Loïc duval (Audi no. 3). Stéphane Sarrazin will start from the second row on the Toyota n°8 ahead of Allan McNish (Audi n°2). Alexander Wurz will be at the controls of the No. 7 Toyota ahead of the No. 18 R4 of Mike Rockenfeller.

Danny Watts, author of the best LMP1 time with the Strakka Racing HPD ARX-03a, will be the first driver behind the wheel while Nick Heidfeld will start the #112 Rebellion Racing Lola B60/12. Andrea Belicchi will be at the controls of the sister car #13 alongside Sébastien Bourdais who will drive the Dome S102.5 Pescarolo. Emmanuel Collard will carry out the first stint for the Pescarolo 03 which will only start from the seventh row.

John Martin, author of the LMP2 pole, will be at the controls of the ADR Delta Oreca 03-Nissan ahead of Olivier Pla who will be in the No. 24 Oak Racing Morgan-Judd. The Frenchman will start alongside his compatriot Nelson Panciatici in the No. 03 Signatech-Nissan Oreca 28. Mathias Beche will start in the Oreca 03 of Thiriet by TDS Racing while Soheil Ayari will be in charge of the Oreca 03-Nissan of Pecom Racing.

Jaime Melo will be the first to hit the track with the Ferrari 458 n°59 of Luxury Racing. Stefan Mücke will follow the Brazilian on theAston Martin V8 Vantage while Oliver Gavin will start in the No. 74 Corvette. Olivier Beretta will be in the #458 AF Corse F71 ahead of Jan's #73 Corvette Magnussen.
