The list of entrants for the 6 hours of Spa

The first entry list for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps which will launch the Super Season of WEC the weekend of May 5 was revealed by the WEC.

This list makes it possible to provide several confirmations at the crew level in the first categories.

In LMP1, SMP Racing will field Russians Mikhail Aleshin and Vitaly Petrov in the No. 1 BR11-AER, with the crew still having to be completed by a third driver. Stéphane Sarrazin is registered on the second BR1 bearing the number 17 on which we find, without any real surprise, Matevos Isaakyan and Egor Orudzhev, the two former residents of the World Series Formula V8 3.5 Series who shone last year on a Dallara P217 in ELMS.

In LMP2, G-Drive Racing is well underway with an Oreca 07 on which Roman Rusinov and the leader of the Formula e Jean-Éric Vergne. Nathanaël Berthon completes the crew of the No. 07 Dragonspeed Oreca 31 alongside Roberto Gonzalez and Pastor Maldonado.

On the GTE side, Tony Kanaan and Billy Johnson are well registered in the Ford GTs entered by Chip Ganassi Racing.
