The entry list for the Prologue

The provisional list of entrants for the Prologue of WEC scheduled for April 6 and 7 at Paul-Ricard (Var) has been published. This list includes 35 cars distributed as follows: 9 LMP1 (including 7 non-hybrid), 7 LMP2, 10 GTE Pro and 9 GTE Am.

Toyota Gazoo Racing has already confirmed the presence of Sébastien Buemi, Mike conway and José Maria Lopez on his two TS050 Hybrids who will be accompanied by Alexander Wurz while the double winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans retired. The Austrian was recalled to fill the absence of several other starters with Kamui Kobayashi et Kazuki Nakajima retained in Super GT at Okayama.

Rebellion will welcome André Lotterer, Neel Jani, Bruno Senna, Mathias Beche, Gustavo Menezes and Thomas Laurent to carry out testing of the new R13. Without surprise, Fernando Alonso is not included in the list since the driver McLaren will be held in Sakhir for the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Dragonspeed will entrust the BR1-Gibson to Henrik Hedman, Ben Hanley and Renger van der Zande, while SMP Racing should be present with its two models. However, the Russian team has not yet confirmed a driver. CEFC TRSM Racing should also bring its two Ginetta G60-LT P1s entrusted to Charles Robertson and Oliver Rowland.
