Ten pass for Audi at Sebring?

On the occasion of the inauguration of this new world championshipEndurance, all the teams are on a war footing at Sebring and especially Audi. Indeed, the German brand could well achieve its tenth victory in Florida. Moreover, if we look more closely, the Ingolstadt team's results at Le Mans and Sebring seem closely linked.

For example, the year 2000 marked both Audi?s first victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This double was achieved by Frank Biela, Tom Kristensen and Emmanuele Pirro at the wheel of the R8. In 2006, Florida and Sarthe were the scene of the first victory for a Diesel engine. Once again, it was Tom Kristensen who won, this time accompanied by Dindo Capello and Allan McNish at Sebring and by Biela, Pirro and Werner at Le Mans.

In summary, since its involvement in endurance, Audi has imposed all its prototypes on these two tracks. Will the R18 TDI join the lineage of its big sisters on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the 12 hours? Nothing is certain, but the crews fielded by the brand will obviously be formidable. The three trios Lotterer-Tréluyer-Fassler (n°1), McNish-Kristensen-Capello (n°2) and Bernard-Dumas-Duval (n°3) risk destroying their opponents' hopes of victory.
