The No. 1 Porsche leads the Prologue at Monza

Neel Jani was the fastest of the morning in the Prologue of the WEC in Monza (Italy). The pilot of the Porsche n°1 a bouclé un tour en 1’32’’068 pour devancer d’un peu plus d’un dixième la Toyota n°8 d’Anthony Davidson. La seconde TS050 Hybrid a terminé à 4 dixièmes avec Mike conway, while the second 919 Hybrid followed more than half a second behind with Brendon Hartley as leader. The CLM01/P1 of By Kolles Racing from Webb-Kubica did not set a time.

Rebellion leads LMP2

The Oreca 07s of Vaillante Rebellion finished first in LMP2. Bruno Senna set the best time in the category with a lap in 1'36''094 where he was more than 6 tenths ahead of the sister car driven by Mathias Beche. The no. 26 of G-Drive Racing completes the top three of the LMP2s at 7 tenths from the benchmark, preceding the no. 28 of TDS Racing led by Matthieu Vaxivière and the Oreca 07s of Jackie Chan DC Racing of Ho-Pin Tung and Tristan Gommendy. The first one Alpine A470 is the No. 36 of Gustavo Menezes which is in 7th place.

Porsche leads the GTE

The Porsche 911 RSRs lead both GTE categories. The #92 of Michael Christensen finished in first position in GTE Pro with a time of 1'47''379 ahead of the two Ford GTs from Chip Ganassi Racing with Andy Priaulx and Stefan Mücke. In GTE Am, it was the No. 86 of Gulf Racing UK which finished first in its category with a time of 1'50''315 set by Benjamin Baker.
