The #2 Porsche remains in the lead in the Prologue

La Porsche 919 Hybrid a monopolisé la première place des trois séances de la première journée du Prologue du WEC disputé au Paul-Ricard (Var). Neel Jani a encore amélioré de près d’une demi-seconde la référence en réalisant un temps de 1’37 »487 avec plus de huit dixièmes d’avance sur la Toyota TS050 Hybrid Kazuki Nakajima. André Lotterer's Audi R18 finished more than two seconds ahead of the two Rebellion R-Ones.

If Nick Leventis maintains the best time of the day in LMP2 at the wheel of the Gibson 015S-Nissan of Strakka Racing, it is Filipe Albuquerque who was the fastest in the night session by completing a lap of Castellet in 1'47 »821 on the Ligier JS P2 of RGR Sport by Morand. The Portuguese preceded the #2 ESM Ligier JS P31 driven by Luis Felipe Derani by less than a tenth.

Marino Franchitti was the fastest of the session at the wheel of the No. 67 Ford GT with which he completed a lap in 1'59"105, finishing more than a second behind the reference of the day set by Gianmaria Bruni on there Ferrari 488 GTE n°51 from AF Corse.
