The No. 8 Toyota victorious at Le Mans

The Toyota remained untouchable throughout the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is nevertheless the TS050 Hybrid n°8 of Buemi-Nakajima-Alonso who won for the second consecutive time and won the Drivers' title after the puncture that occurred on the No. 7 sister car of Conway-Kobayashi-Lopez.

It is SMP Racing which completes the podium in the general classification with the #1 BR11 of Petrov-Aleshin-Vandorne ahead of the two Rebellions.

LMP2

If the Aurus 01 G-Drive of Rusinov-Van Uitert-Vergne took the lead in LMP2 thanks to the safety cars, it isAlpine de Stone-negrao-Thiriet who won the victory and the category title when the Russian team's prototype lost several laps following a starter problem. The podium is completed by the #07 Oreca 38 of Jackie Chan DC Racing of Tung-Richelmi-Aubry and that of TDS Racing of Perrodo-Vaxivière-Duval. The Dragonspeed of Gonzalez-Maldonado-Davidson was fighting for the top three before Pastor Maldonado went off the track at Tertre Rouge early in the morning.

United Autosports takes the first Ligier JSP217 to the foot of the LMP2 podium with Hanson-Albuquerque-Di Resta. Cetilar Villorba Corse offers the best result in Dallara by finishing outside the Top 12 in the category with Lacorte-Sernagiotto-Belicchi.

GTE

At the end of a breathtaking race in GTE Pro where the lead was fought between Ferrari, Porsche, Ford and Corvette, it was the F488 n°51 AF Corse of Pier Guidi-Calado-Serra which won the victory by competing in an error-free race. The Porsches of Bruni-Lietz-Makowiecki and Pilet-Bamber-Tandy completed the category podium. The No. 911 92 RSR of Christensen-Estre-Vanthoor finished 10th in GTE Pro following an exhaust problem, but Michael Christensen and Kévin Estre still won the title.

Corvette was not successful. After Marcel Fässler's crash on #64, the car of Magnussen-Garcia-Rockenfeller was leading the category until being trapped by the safety car. The exit of Jan Magnussen finally ruined the last hopes of the C7R.

Keating Motorsports achieved its first category victory at Le Mans by winning the GTE Am category with the already famous Ford GT in purple livery from Keating-Bleekemolen-Fraga. However, it was Team Project 1 which won the title in the category as well as its crew made up of Perfetti-Bergmeister-Lindsey.
