The Audi R18 stands above the rest

The Audi R18 ended this Test day at the top of the timesheet, thanks to a lap in 3'27"687. The car of Rinaldo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish is ahead of the sister car of Romain Dumas, Mike Rockenfeller, Timo Bernhard by 0. In third position, the Peugeot 908 of Stéphane Sarrazin, Anthony Davidson and Franck Montagny only concedes 0 »189.

In the LMP2 category, the Oreca-Nissans retain the first two positions. The Signatech Nissan team, whose car is entrusted to Franck Mailleux, Soheil Ayari and Lucas Ordnonez, set the best time in 3:42:992 ahead of Team Oreca Matmut and their duo Alexandre Prémat, Dominik Kraihamer. Another Nissan engine placed in the top 3, thanks to the Zytek from Greaves Motorsport.

In GTE, Ferrari ends this Test day with a double. The Hankook-Farnbacher F458 in the hands of Dominik Farnbacher and Allan Simonsen (3:59:966) is ahead of that of AF Corse, driven by Giancarolo Fisichella, Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander. The BMW M3 of Augusto Farfus, Jörg Muller and Dirk Werner took third place.
