CEFC TRSM Racing with two Ginettas for the Super Season

Following the ACO press conference held this Friday afternoon at Rétromobile in Paris, the entry list presented was able to confirm the presence of two Ginetta G60-LT-P1s in the colors of CEFC TRSM Racing (formerly called TRS Racing Manor).

AlongsideOliver Rowland confirmed this morning in the #1 Ginetta LMP6, Charlie Robertson is entered in the #5 sister car (subject to obtaining a license). The 21-year-old Briton advances to the World ChampionshipEndurance taking advantage of the development program put in place by the British manufacturer.

After winning the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2012 and the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup in 2014, Charlie Robertson took on prototype racing by winning the LMP3 category of theELMS in 2015 alongside Sir Chris Hoy in a Ginetta LMP3 entered by Team LNT. His career continued particularly in Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup, in GT4 European Series Northern Cup, in VdeV or even in British GT.

“I started my career with Ginetta when I was 14 and have since moved up the ranks in motorsport through GT and prototype racing, comments Chris Robertson. The development of my career is testament to the support Ginetta provides to drivers at every stage of their career. I am incredibly indebted to them and to Lawrence Tomlinson (Ginetta Chairman) as I am now able to realize my dream of racing at the highest level of motorsport. »

With two drivers without LMP1 experience, CEFC TRSM Racing will have an interest in completing its crews with drivers with more knowledge of the category.

“Even though this will be (Oliver Rowland's) first season in this discipline, he has our full confidence and he will adapt very quickly to LMP1, assures Graeme Lowdon, president and sporting director of CEFC TRSM Racing. It's also fantastic to see Charlie move up to LMP1 with a Ginetta. »

CEFC TRSM Racing will compete in its third consecutive season in WEC after two years spent in LMP2.
