The start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans pushed back to 16 p.m.?

For a long time, tradition has dictated that the departure of 24 Hours of Le Mans be given at 16 p.m. And this even if on several occasions – often due to elections – it has been brought forward or even postponed.

Since 2007, however, it is at 15 p.m. that the countdown begins and the tricolor flag is waved.

But according to our information, this could change as early as next year. Indeed, to give more time for pre-race activities, the start of the most famous double clock tower on the planet should once again be given at 16 p.m. from the 2020 edition, scheduled for June 13 and 14 .
