The Dyson gives up its place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

After winning the ALMS title last year, Dyson Racing got off to a good start to the new season by securing victory in the discipline at the 12 Hours of Sebring. The American team seemed to have adapted perfectly to its new Lola B12/60-Mazda and had already entered two cars in the 80th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Alas, the Dyson abandons his commitment and leaves two free entries for the substitutes.

There will be two LMP2s which will complete the entry list with 56 cars registered. Status GP will enter its Lola B12/80-Judd which will sport the No. 30 on which the British driver Alexander Sims is entered. Second place is taken by another Irish structure. Murphy Prototypes will field an Oreca 03-Judd which will notably be driven by Irishman Gregory Murphy. The list of reservists only includes the Lola B12/80 from the Lotus team, the Porsche 911 RSRIMSA Matmut Performance (GTE Pro) and the other Porsche 911 RSR from Proton Compétition (GTE Am).
