Graff Racing, currently fourth in the LMP3 category in ELMS, announced that it will enter an Oreca 07 in LMP2 from 2017. The French team reserves the choice for its program and could therefore enter in WEC.
“After a good start to the season in LMP3 and the confidence placed in us by drivers and partners, whom I would like to thank, the logical next step was to have an LMP2 program in 2017, commented Pascal Rauturier, the Team Manager of Graff Racing. LMP2 has always made us dream, the Championship is very professional and the competition is tough. The circuits are varied and very interesting. »
If the program is not yet defined, Graff Racing is primarily aiming for a place for 24 Hours of Le Mans.
“At the moment, we have not yet determined the championship in which we will participate, added Pascal Rauturier. We already have international drivers interested in participating in WEC rounds, particularly on the American continent. The Holy Grail will be to take the team and our drivers to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2017, for which we will submit an entry request. »
Graff Racing currently enters two Ligier JS P3-Nissans in ELMS and leads the LMP3 category in VdeV.
