Nothing could distract them from their happiness. As the storm which had forced the race to be interrupted earlier than expected fell on the circuit, Andre Negro, Nicolas lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere and their boss Philippe Sinault enjoyed the first Marseillaise of the Hypercar era on the podium. A few minutes later, they were greeted with applause from the entire box. Alpine, installed under one of the tents in the Sebring paddock. Just reward for a perfect week for the French team. From the Prologue, the A480-Gibson impressed with its regularity and rhythm, while the Toyota remained behind. It was still time for caution in the French clan. “It's hard to say [if Toyota is hiding its game]. There are always doubts, we will continue to push and we will see what happens,” Matthieu Vaxiviere was wary after the practice sessions for the race.
