Le Mans – 4 hours: the Audis in working order

Audi places its R18s in the first three rows at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The first Toyota is two minutes from the lead of the race. The GTE Pro is animated by a duel between Aston Martin and Porsche.

Le Mans – 4 hours: the Audis in working order

At the end of the fourth hour of the race at Le Mans, Audi is at the forefront with three R18s. Benoît Tréluyer took over the No. 1 Audi in the lead, almost a minute ahead of the other R18s. No. 2 of Loïc duval is in second position just ahead of sister car #3 now driven by Oliver Jarvis. Sébastien Buemi, now behind the wheel of the Toyota No. 8, is more than two minutes late. Rebellion keeps the lead ahead of Strakka Racing.

Oak Racing remains in control of LMP2 with Alex Brundle still ahead of the No. 03 G-Drive Oreca 26 Mike conway. The No. 35 Oak Racing Morgan currently driven by Bertrand Baguette is in third position. Thiriet by TDS Racing is in fourth position in the category ahead of PeCom Racing.

Aston Martin makes the difference in GTE Pro. The No. 97 Vantage of Stefan Mücke is in the lead ahead of the sister car of Frédéric Makowiecki. The Frenchman managed to take the advantage over the Porsche n°92 by Romain Dumas. There Ferrari n°61 AF Corse remains at the top of the GTE Am.
