Le Mans – Audi remains in the lead at mid-race

The halfway mark was reached with the hybrid Audis in the lead ahead of the No. 18 R4 ultra. Rebellion Racing held on in front of the No. 3 Audi which made a mistake again.

Le Mans – Audi remains in the lead at mid-race

Marcel Fässler continues his stint at the wheel of the No. 1 Audi still in the lead with 40 seconds ahead of the No. 2 of Tom Kristensen who is reducing the gap to the race lead. In the No. 4 Audi, Marco Bonanomi occupies third place two laps behind the leaders with several laps ahead of the two Rebellion Racing Lola B12/60s which have not changed position, the No. 12 of Jani -Cheers-Heidfeld ahead of the No. 13 of Belicchi-Bleekemolen-Primat. Romain Dumas lost time in the Swiss LMP1s when he left the track at the Chicane du Ronnement following contact with the No. 70 Corvette of Larbre Compétition. The #22 JRM HPD currently driven by Danny Watts remains in seventh position despite clutch problems forcing him to pit for repairs.

Following the misfortunes of Oak Racing in LMP2 (abandonment of the #24 Morgan-Judd and mechanical problem for the #35 Morgan-Nissan), Starworks Motorsport occupies the lead in the category with the #44 HPD of Tom Kimber- Smith who has a small lead over Pecom Racing's Oreca 03-Nissan. Signatech-Nissan is still well placed with its two Oreca 03s in third and fifth place in the category, the No. 26 of Roman Rusinov ahead of the No. 23 of Olivier Lombard. The two Signatech Oreca 03s are separated by the Oreca 03 of Pierre Thiriet (Thiriet by TDS Racing).

AF Corse still leads the way in GTE Pro with the No. 458 F51 of Toni Vilander having a two-minute lead over the No. 59 of Luxury Racing of Jaime Melo. Aston Martin follows in third place 40 seconds ahead of Wolf Henzler on the Porsche No. 77 of the Felbermayr Proton. Chevrolet looks grim with the No. 73 Corvette (Garcia-Magnussen-Taylor) stuck in his box while the No. 74 of Gavin-Milner-Westbrook has been in the pits for a very long time. Raymond Narac continues to dominate GTE Am with the No. 67 PorscheIMSA Matmut performance which is ahead of the No. 50 Corvette from Larbre Compétition.
