Le Mans – Bonanomi replaces Rossiter at ByKolles Racing

Marco Bonanomi will support Oliver Webb and Dominik Kraihamer in the CLM01/P1-Nismo of By Kolles Racing in 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The 32-year-old Italian, author of three participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Audi and a 3rd place in the general classification during his first participation in 2012, will replace James Rossiter retained in Super GT 500 for a test session with Tom's stable.

“We sincerely regret that James cannot be with us due to a test session in Japan”, comments Boris Bermes, the racing operations director of ByKolles Racing.

“With Marco, we found a very fast and experienced driver from LMP1. Marco has already performed at a high level at Le Mans with Audi, adds Boris Bermes. The tests carried out at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) confirmed its first-rate qualities. »

James Rossiter competed in the first two rounds of the WEC with ByKolles Racing and competes in the Super GT 500 in parallel with the Tom’s team.
