Le Mans: Christophe Tinseau strengthens TDS Racing

For his first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Thiriet by TDS Racing had to find a third thief to support its two drivers already racing in ELMS. And if possible experience, the team starting in Sarthe. Which is now done with the announcement of the arrival of Christophe Tinseau. With his ten participations at Le Mans, the latter has the necessary experience to strengthen the young French team. The man who has driven for Dams, Oreca and Pescarolo will bring all his expertise to shine for this team which will undoubtedly be among the favorites for the 24 2012 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 category.

“I am very happy to join this team, explains Christophe Tinseau. It is a professional stable where a good atmosphere reigns. I was able to see this during free practice at the 6 Hours of Le Castellet. I have a very good feeling with all the members of the team, we have the same vision of what?Endurance. In the days that follow, I will go to the workshop to meet the entire team as well as my new teammates. I know they are extremely fast and reliable. I think we can form a successful trio. »

However, the Frenchman knows that the competition will be fierce and that he will have to fight to achieve victory in Sarthe. “Personally, I think the HPD and Judd engines have a small advantage over the Nissan engine in terms of power. It would be good if the ACO could do something before the race. If this is the case, we can play for the podium. Otherwise, it remains a 24-hour race and anything can happen. For my part, my objective for this eleventh participation will obviously be to be on the podium. »
