Le Mans – Loïc Duval crash in free practice

While the first of four hours of testing of 24 Hours of Le Mans has just ended, the red flag is waved on the Le Mans track following a violent exit from the track Loïc duval before the turn of the Karting. Images showed R18 No. 1 completely destroyed. Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich said the pilot was conscious and able to speak. The reigning world champion was transferred to the medical center.

The drivers set off at a high pace since Loïc Duval set the second time, one second behind the benchmark time established by Anthony Davidson on the Toyota n°8 with a lap completed in 3'23"652.
