The stewards of the 24 hours of Le Mans have not been idle, already imposing numerous fines following infractions.

Le Mans – Cascading fines

While the second part of the qualifications of 24 Hours of Le Mans must be contested this Thursday evening, several drivers and teams have already had to be called to order by the stewards.

Les déclarations administratives faites en retard sont notamment sanctionnées. Le ByKolles Racing, Porsche, Ford UK et Aston Martin were fined €1000. High Class Racing was even fined €1500, but it was Rebellion who had to pay the most with a €2000 fine. Alpine and Duqueine were also fined €500.

As for the drivers, Antonio Garcia received a €1000 fine for crossing the pit entry line at the wheel of the No. 63 Corvette. Roberto Lacorte was called to order with a fine of €400 for exceeding the speed limit in the pits by 3km/h (60km/h). All his times were canceled until the infraction.

A total of €9900 was claimed from participants who did not respect the rules.
