Le Mans / ELMS – Mathias Beche with Thiriet by TDS

On the eve of the ACO press conference, which must formalize the entry lists for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the World ChampionshipEndurance WEC and l'ELMS, Rebellion Racing has just formalized a merger with Thiriet by TDS Racing.

In addition to a marketing agreement (the Thiriet brand appearing on the R-One in WEC and Rebellion Timepieces becoming a marketing partner of Xavier Combet's team), Thiriet by TDS will benefit from a sporting partnership with the Swiss team, with the “loan” of Mathias Beche at the French stable. The Swiss pilot will evolve on the Oreca 05 LM P2 in ELMS and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in addition to his commitment to the other rounds of the WEC with Rebellion. The team will have to find a replacement for Beche for Le Mans in Nicolas' R-One Cheers and Nick Heidfeld

“Alongside my LM P1 program, I will be able to compete in ELMS, in a team that I know very well and in partnership with Rebellion Racing, says Beche. Being able to return to LMP2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a car capable of winning would be very exciting. It's a race that I dream of winning. Sportingly, I think that LMP2 will be the most competitive category this year. »

Beche finished second in LM P2 at Le Mans in 2012 in the Oreca 03-Nissan of Thiriet by TDS Racing, with his teammates at the time, Pierre Thiriet and Christophe Tinseau. Winner of the private LM P1 Drivers' Trophy in WEC for the last two years, his list of achievements also includes an ELMS Drivers' title in 2012, with Thiriet by TDS.
