Eurosport has unveiled its program for the broadcast of 24 Hours of Le Mans played on June 16 and 17.
The private channel will offer a total of 38 hours of original programming and will even break a world record on the German version with 26,5 consecutive hours live during the race.
In parallel with the race, Eurosport will offer a program called “Legends of Le Mans” in which Tom Kristensen, the record holder for victories on the Sarthe circuit, will drive a 1924 Bentley, a Ferrari 166 MM from 1949, a Ford GT 40 from 1967 and a Matra Simca from 1974. This show, divided into three episodes, will be broadcast on Wednesday 13 from 21:45 p.m. and Thursday 14 from 21 p.m. The three episodes will be rebroadcast on Saturday 16 from 13 p.m.
Eurosport is developing its coverage after observing a strong increase in audiences last year, notably +52% in Germany, +40% in the Netherlands, +181% in Poland, +40% in Romania and +13% in Italy.
