Le Mans – H12: The No. 20 Porsche climbs onto the podium

Halfway through this 82nd edition of 24 Hours of Le Mans, Toyota by Stéphane Sarrazin still dominates the event and maintains a lead of around 2′ depending on the lap. André Lotterer tries everything he can to get back on the Japanese, but TS040 n°7 seems to have mastered its subject. Tom Kristensen was a solid 3rd before encountering problems with an injector on his #18 R1, which was pushed into his box. There Porsche #2 of Timo Bernhard took the opportunity to take 3rd place overall.

In LM P2, 1’30 separated the #2 Ligier JS P35 of G-Drive by Oak Racing from theAlpine A450 observed from a distance. After its penalty for speeding in the pits, the Ligier du Thiriet by TDS Racing is in 3rd position, 30″ behind theAlpine.

In GTE Pro, the fight continues between Senna (Aston Martin n°97), Fisichella (Ferrari n°51) and Westobrook (Corvette n°74) but with gaps which widened with the refueling of the 458 Italia and the American. No changes in GTE Am, where the #95 Aston Martin is a solid leader.
