Le Mans – H17: Audi n°1 manages its lead

Marc Gené still occupies the lead at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the No. 1 Audi which has a two-minute lead over Mark Webber's Porsche. Aston Martin retains control of the GTE Pro.

Le Mans – H17: Audi n°1 manages its lead

The Audi n°1 currently driven by Marc Gené still occupies the lead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans despite the intervention of the safety car following Viktor Shaitar's exit from the track on the Ferrari n°72 of SMP Racing. The second R18 is still in third position two laps ahead of the #040 TS8 of Nicolas lapierre. Romain Dumas completes the top five in the second 919 Hybrid.

G-Drive Racing maintains control in LMP2 with its No. 35 Ligier driven by Mark Shulzhitskiy who is one minute ahead of theAlpine by Nelson Panciatiici. The provisional podium is completed by the TDS Racing Ligier of Ludovic Badey while Michel Frey still occupies fourth place on the Race Performance Oreca 03R which received a 35-second stop & go for excessive speed in the pits. .

Aston Martin and Ferrari are still neck and neck for the lead in GTE Pro. The #51 of Giancarlo Fisichella is at the helm with the #97 Vantage of Stefan Mücke while the Porsche #92 by Marc Holzer completes the top three ahead of the two Corvettes. Kristian Poulsen maintains the lead in GTE Am at the wheel of the #95 Vantage.
