The situation remains stable in the first two categories. There Porsche #1 of Nick Tandy continues his solo race with a 12 lap lead over the #07 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca 38 of Thomas Laurent still in the lead of LMP2. At Vaillante Rebellion, it is still the No. 13 now driven by David Heinemeier-Hansson which is on the provisional podium in the general classification, while the No. 31 of Nicolas Cheers slipped to 5th place behind theAlpine n°35 by André negrao. The second Vaillante has just been returned to the garage following a gearbox casing problem.
It is in GTE Pro that the tensions are perceptible. The No. 91 Porsche of Frédéric Makowiecki finds itself in the top places following an exit from the track by Richie Stanaway at Mulsanne in the No. 95 Vantage. The New Zealander was able to reach the pits despite contact with the tire wall, but the team had to carry out lengthy repairs. Nicki Thiim took over but had to pit again after moving slowly.

The No. 91 Porsche of Frédéric Makowiecki now completes the provisional podium in the category ahead of the No. 67 Ford GT of Luis Felipe Derani and the Ferrari #71 by Sam Bird. JMW Motorsport remains at the top of the GTE Am with its Ferrari led by Dries Vanthoor.
