Le Mans – H6: Status quo in Sarthe

As the sun descends in the Sarthe sky, the ranking of the 82nd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans did not evolve in the different categories. It's always there Toyota n°7 who leads the dance, but this time with the Japanese Kazuki Nakajima, author of the pole Thursday evening, on board. He is still more than 45″ ahead of Benoît Tréluyer’s Audi n°2 and the Porsche n ° 20 of Brendon Hartley which still has to stop, with its strategy out of step with the two leading cars. Lucas Di Grassi ranks 4th ahead of the first Rebellion R-One, the No. 12 driven by Mattias Bèche.

In LM P2, the No. 2 Ligier JS P35 of Mark Shulzhitskiy's G-Drive is in the lead ahead of the sister car of Thiriet by TDS Racing which has joined the fight at the head of the category with theAlpine A450 of Oliver Webb, 3rd and the No. 34 Race Performance Oreca of Jon Lancaster. The four cars are separated by 50″.

In GTE, no change with the domination of the No. 74 Corvette of Richard Westbrook ahead of theAston Martin Vantage n°97 by Bruno Senna which is ahead of the Ferrari of Giancarlo Fisichella, who returned to the provisional GTE Pro podium in front of the No. 91 Porsche of Bergmeister. Finally in Am, the two Aston Martins #98 and #95 currently dominate the class.
