The positions are stabilized at the head of the race at Le Mans but the battle continues to rage in GTE Pro where the four manufacturers are at the forefront.

Le Mans – H9: The GTE Pros liven up the race

Alex Wurz took over Kazuki Nakajima driving the Toyota n°7 who still occupies the head of 24 Hours of Le Mans 1'40 ahead of the #2 Audi of Marcel Fässler. The second R18 still in the race still completes the provisional podium ahead of the Porsche by Mark Webber and Neel Jani. The No. 12 Rebellion of Nick Heidfeld fell back to sixth after losing a wheel coming out of the pits. The No. 8 Toyota Nicolas lapierre still points at one turn.

The #35 G-Drive Racing Ligier remains in control of LMP2 with Jann Mardenborough still at the wheel ahead ofAlpine from Nelson Panciatici who is playing at half a minute with one stop less. The No. 03 Race Performance Oreca 34R remains in the race with Franck Mailleux in third place ahead of the TDS Racing Ligier driven by Ludovic Badey.

As for the GTE Pro, the fight is still in full swing with the first four cars grouped together in one minute. Aston Martin still leads the way with the #97 Vantage now driven by Stefan Mücke who has a dozen seconds ahead of the Ferrari n°51 by Gianmaria Bruni. The No. 74 Corvette of Tommy Milner dropped to third position ahead of the No. 92 Porsche of Frédéric Makowiecki. Patrick Pilet's sister car was taken into the garage to have its brakes replaced. Aston Martin still masters its subject in GTE Am with the #98 of Pedro Lamy ahead of the #95 of Nicki Thiim.
