Le Mans – Jules Gounon confirmed at Risi

As we announced to you in issue 2210 of AUTOhebdo, Jules Gounon will be engaged in 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 15-16) on the Ferrari 488 GTE n°89 of Risi Competizione alongside Oliver Jarvis and Luis Felipe Derani. The Texan team confirmed the presence of the Frenchman and the Briton after announcing last month his first pilot, the Brazilian engaged in IMSA with Action Express Racing.

If Oliver Jarvis has 7 participations in the Le Mans event including three podiums in the general classification won with Audi, Jules Gounon will make his debut in Sarthe after winning the 24 2017 Hours of Spa in an R8 LMS GT3 from Saintéloc Racing.

There should only be three Ferrari 488 GTEs in GTE Pro at the next edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with AF Corse fielding two models with that of Risi Competizione. The list of entrants can be found here.
