Le Mans – Kazuki Nakajima present at the Test Day

Kazuki Nakajima will participate in the Test Day of 24 Hours of Le Mans this May 31 on TS040 n°1 alongside Anthony Davidson and Sébastien Buemi. The Japanese's recovery is astonishing since the Japanese pilot suffers from a fractured vertebra since April 30 following an accident during testing for the 6 Hours of Spa where he collided with the No. 8 Audi driven by Oliver Jarvis while braking at Les Combes.

Dr Jacques Tropenat, FIA delegate doctor, assessed this morning that Kazuki Nakajima was able to participate in the Test Day. The team will decide whether the Japanese is able to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 13 and 14 following these tests.

“I have to say a big thank you to the medical team who helped me recover so quickly…”, commented Kazuki Nakajima. “My passion for Le Mans helped me a lot after the accident whenit seemed unlikely that I would drive at Le Mans this year.
