A turnaround in the general classification of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the downgrading of the No. 07 Vaillante Rebellion Oreca 13, 3rd in the race.

Le Mans – The Oreca 07 n°13 Vaillante Rebellion decommissioned

Third in the general ranking of the 85th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and second in LM P2, the Oreca 07 n°13 Vaillante Rebellion of Nelson Piquet Jr – Mathias Beche – David Heinemeier-Hansson was downgraded after the finish of the race following an intervention under closed park regime and a modification of the bodywork, a hole having been made to be able to access the starter without having to remove the engine cover.

This downgrade offers the third step on the podium to the No. 07 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca 37 of David Cheng – Tristan Gommendy – Alex Brundle. The Chinese team thus places its two LM P2s in the top 3, the No. 38 of Thomas Laurent – Ho-Pin Tung – Oliver Jarvis having taken second place overall.

In LM P2, the classification also changes since theAlpine A470 n°35 by Pierre Ragues – Nelson Panciatici – André negrao recovers the last step of the podium.
