Le Mans – Update after one hour

By positioning three of its cars at the head of this first hour of the test day, Audi demonstrated the first thing: its cars are very comfortable on a wet track.

For the moment, the No. 1 Audi of Lotterer-Tréluyer-Fassler is ahead of the No. 3 of Di Grassi-Jarvis-Gene and the No. 2 of Kristensen-McNish-Duval the Toyota by Sarrazin-Davidson-Buemi et Stone-Wurz-Nakajima follow almost 3 and 5 seconds behind the best time. Nothing worrying however for the Japanese cars, we are only at the start of the session on the one hand, and the conditions obviously do not lend themselves to attack on the other.

In LM P2, a great introduction to the?Alpine of Ragues-Panciatici-Gommendy which immediately placed itself in front of the Zytek Jota Sport of Turvey-Dolan-Luhr and the Morgan of the Chinese team KCMG, driven by Tung-Imperatori Howson.

In GTE-Pro, Porsche is celebrating, since the two official cars have been at the top of the timesheet since the start of the session, Dumas-Lietz-Lieb ahead of Pilet-Bergmeister-Bernhard and the?Aston Martin by Bell-Makowiecki-Senna. Porsche advantage still in GTE-Am where the 911 of the Dempsey Del Pierro team, driven by Dempsey-Foster-Long is ahead of the Ferrari of Bright-Potolicchio-Aguas (8 Star Racing) and Gerber-Cioci-Griffin (AF Corse).
