Le Mans – Le Thiriet by TDS Racing discovers its Ligier

Tristan Gommendy, Ludovic Badey and Pierre Thiriet took turns last Sunday at the wheel of the new No. 2 Ligier JSP46-Nissan of Thiriet by TDS Racing. The Test Day was positive for the team which was able to complete more than 40 laps without encountering any major problems, apart from a puncture during the first practice session for Tristan Gommendy. The French team did not seek to place itself at the forefront by racing in the middle of the LMP2 pack, the main thing being to get its bearings on this new prototype.

“Test Day was busy”, confirms Tristan Gommendy who set the best time for the crew with a lap completed in 3'40"908. “A lot of adjustments have been made. We did not seek to achieve performance but we wanted to concentrate on the tuning of this new car. We still have work to improve but I am confident: the work will pay off. I can't wait until Wednesday June 11th for the first tests. Humility always remains the key word for both 24 Hours of Le Mans but I believe that we are well equipped to achieve a good result. »
