The Balance of Performance published before the Test Day on June 4 will penalize the Ford GTs following their results achieved during the last edition where the American manufacturer achieved victory in GTE Pro.
For the GTE Pro, the Ford GTs will be weighed by 15kg (20kg compared to last year) while theAston Martin Vantage will be 15kg lighter with a flange diameter increased by 0,2mm. The Corvette C7-R will gain 0,7mm while the Porsche 911 RSR will lose 0,7mm.
The GTE from Stuttgart, on the other hand, will gain 1l on its fuel tank. The Ford GT will gain 3l and the Aston Martin 2l, but the Corvette and the Ferrari 488 GTE will lose 4l. Turbo pressure will be lowered for the Ford GT and the Ferrari.
GTE Am
For the GTE Am, the old Porsche 911 RSR will gain 1l on its tank but will be weighed down by 10kg, the weight of which the Ferrari 488 GTE will be reduced. The Vantage will gain 5kg, a larger tank of 3l and a flange increased by 0,1mm. The Italian, however, will lose 2l on her tank and a boost revised downwards. The Corvette will be 20kg lighter, will have a flange increased by 0,3mm and an additional 4l tank.
