The ACO has revealed several elements concerning the next editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The entry list will notably be extended.

Le Mans – More cars in future editions

The ACO revealed during a press conference held this Thursday, June 11 in the paddock of 24 Hours of Le Mans several information concerning the next editions of the Sarthois double clock tower.

The 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be contested on June 18 and 19 and will host 58 cars, two more than in 2015. The Test Day will take place on June 5. In 2017, the number of participants will increase to 60 cars.

The 56th stand at the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been allocated to the project WR biomethane for the 85th edition in 2017, knowing that it will return to project by Frédéric Sausset next year.
