Larbre tests at Sebring and confirms Poulsen

Back in the World ChampionshipEndurance after a year of absence, the stable The Competition Tree was at Sebring in Florida on March 9 and 10 to take the first laps of its new Corvette C7.R which will be entered in the Pro-Am category this season for a now complete trio. Alongside the Italians Paolo Ruberti and Gianluca Roda, Jack Leconte and the team based in Val-de-Vienne, have confirmed the presence of the Dane Christian Poulsen, winner last year of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and WEC in Pro-Am with Aston Martin.

?I felt really comfortable in the car. Everything went as planned during these tests, and we encountered no problems,
indicates the 39-year-old pilot. This year, we have a solid team, backed by a trio of experienced drivers. This should allow us to fight for victory in several events and, I hope, to win at Le Mans as well as in the championship. »

The American break for Larbre also took the team to Detroit (Michigan) in the manufacturer's workshops. “On a human level, the technical team comes out reinforced from its hook by Detroit, confesses Team Manager Jack Leconte. On the driver side, we are delighted to welcome one of the 2014 LMGTE Am champions in the person of Kristian Poulsen. As for Gianluca Roda and Paolo Ruberti, we know them well having had them as runners-up two years in a row in ILMC and WEC. This shows that their talent behind the wheel is familiar to us. We are therefore very satisfied with the homogeneity of our 2015 crew. At the end of the 12 Hours of Sebring, our Corvette C7.R will return to Detroit for a complete overhaul before taking a flight to Europe, direction Le Castellet, where the car will be presented at the WEC Prologue on March 27. »
