Pierre Ragues commits to Larbre

Champion ELMS 2013 with Signatech-Alpine, Pierre ragues will redirect his career towards the GTE Am category in 2016 with a commitment to WEC and therefore to 24 Hours of Le Mans with the stable of Jack Leconte Larbre Compétition.

The 32-year-old driver will drive a Corvette C7.R alongside Yukata Yamagishi and Paolo Ruberti, already present last year in the American GT.

“I started with GT in 2006, then I accumulated great experience alternating between LMP1 and LMP2. Today the idea of taking on a challenge in GT is very exciting for me, especially with Corvette and Larbre Compétition.

I have always closely followed what was happening in GT. The level is very high, the races are very competitive and are often decided in the last lap. » explains Ragues who will be competing in his tenth double round of the clock in Sarthe. His recent participations have been in LM P2, including that with Larbre in 2014 in a Morgan.
