RAM Racing stops its season

The British team RAM Racing, which enters Ferrari 458 Italias in the GTE category in the WEC, has announced that it is withdrawing from the championship for financial reasons.

RAM Racing stops its season

The British RAM Racing team, based in Silverstone, and title holder in the GTE category in European Le Mans Series, announced this Friday that it was ending its season in the World Championship ofEndurance and in all other categories. In question, reductions in funding expected for the second half of the season, which will not allow the team to continue its activities in satisfactory conditions.

The majority of employees have been released from their duties and can now look for new employment. Absent at Spa, the team returned during the last 24 Hours of Le Mans with a final 32nd place for the #53 of Johnny Mowlem, Archie Hamilton and Mark Patterson, entered in GTE Am and hoped to continue their season from the 6 Hours of Austin in Texas on September 20.
