Five races, five victories. Before the last round of the season (the 8 Hours of Bahrain, this Saturday), the stable Toyota achieves a flawless performance in this 2021 season (see elsewhere). With three doubles (8 H. of Portimão, 24 Hours of Le Mans and 6 H. from Bahrain), the Hypercar title could only fall into the hands of the Japanese team. The Japanese prototypes having been freed from the fuel contamination problem encountered at Monza and on Sunday morning at Le Mans (see Briefing Pages), it was difficult to imagine them being beaten last Saturday. No, the main scare of the weekend for the brand from Aichi (Japan) simply occurred during Free Practice on Friday, when the nº8 got involved with the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo nº85 Iron Ladies.
