Covid-19 continues to impact the World Endurance Championship (WEC). A few days after announcing thepure and simple cancellation of the 1 Miles of Sebring (Florida), it is the turn of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) not to take place on the dates initially planned.
The promoter of the Championship, its local partners and the RACB are therefore postponing the round, scheduled for April 23 to 25. The promoter, the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and the RACB work jointly toconsider a new date in the 2020 calendar.

Gérard Neveu, Director General of the WEC: “This decision is the only responsible option at this point. The health and well-being of our competitors, our fans and our paddock members must remain our priority. We are working on a new date for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and we will communicate about this as soon as possible. »
All tickets already purchased for the race will remain valid for the event which is postponed. People who are unavailable can contact the official ticketing reseller (Ticketmaster) to obtain a refund.
