The figures of the 84th edition

LeMans.org published its list of key figures on the 84th edition of 24 Hours of Le Mans won by Porsche which improves its record in Sarthe with a 12th success acquired by the 919 Hybrid of Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb.

Si Toyota lost first place to 3 minutes from the finish, the Japanese manufacturer dominated most of this edition with 277 laps spent in the lead (on the 384 curly by the victorious Porsche). Nakajima's TS050 Hybrid n°5Buemi-Davidson leading towards the finish was in first position for 104 loops salary. 173 for Sarrazin's sister car-Conway-Kobayashi. The victorious car covered 51 towers on your mind. In total, 5 cars led this edition.

The victorious Porsche n°2 completed 5232,9 km salary. 5192 km for the No. 6 Toyota which placed second. The real start of the race was given after an hour under safety car regime due to rain. Loïc duval established the maximum speed at 343,4 km/h at the wheel of the No. 18 Audi R8 which completed the podium.

Kamui Kobayashi set the fastest lap in the race with a time of 3'21''445, almost 4 seconds of last year's best performance achieved by André Lotterer who achieved a time of 3'17''445 at the wheel of the Audi R18. The change in regulations with more drastic fuel consumption is the cause of this drop in speed.

It was the No. 911 Abu Dhabi Proton Racing Porsche 88 RSR that spent the least time in the pits with a total time of 27'43. The Al Qubaisi-Heinemeier Hansson-Long car, which had long been able to claim victory in GTE Am, finally finished third in the category.
