The teams invited to the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The titles won by Jackie Chan DC Racing and the Fist-Team AAI in the Asian Le Mans Series at the end of the final contested this Sunday on the Kuala Lumpur circuit in Sepang (Malaysia) enabled the Automobile Club de l'Ouest to draw up the list of teams invited to the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018 scheduled for June 16 and 17.

Jackie Chan DC Racing won two invitations. If its category victory in Sarthe last year is added to the LMP2 and LMP3 titles won in the Asian Le Mans Series, the Chinese team managed by Jota Sport is limited to two entries, one in LMP2 and one in LMP2 or in GTE Am, due to the regulations concerning the double clock tower at Sarthe limiting the number of invitations per team to two.

JMW Motorsport received two invitations in GTE Pro or GTE Am for its victory in GTE Am at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its title in the GTE category of theELMS.

The Fist-Team AAI will be able to enter two cars in GTE Pro or GTE Am for its title and second place obtained in the GT category of the Asian Le Mans Series.

Aston Martin Racing will benefit from an invitation to GTE Pro for its victory in the category during the last edition of the Le Mans event.

G-Drive Racing received an invitation to LMP2 for its title acquired in ELMS with Dragonspeed.

TF Sport will be able to enter a car in GTE Pro or GTE Am for its second place acquired in the GTE category of the ELMS.

As for Ebimotors, it will be able to enter a car in GTE Am after winning the title in the GT3 category of the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
